Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi all, I'm in need of some help following an engine swap. I've changed the 2.7/5 speed in my 2007 Cayman 987.1 to a 3.4 Hartech-built engine with a 6-speed box and a Quaife LSD . I've had the DME that came with the engine coded to my immobiliser ( I believe he changed the VIN in the immo EEPROM) and the car drives great. However, I have a fault in the PSM/ABS - 5821 Version Coding Incorrect. I believe I need to update the PSM data to the 3.4 engine so they're 'Paired' again. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have PIWIS 2 . Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Simon
