Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm having trouble getting into SAI/Evap readiness state and the garage smells like gas after I park the car. I also get P0442 from time to time. Before I start throwing parts at it I figured I'd take the fender liner off and investigate. But the evidence of leakage seems to confirm that the Fuel Tank Bleeder Valve is the problem. Would you agree?

POST 2Original post

I would agree. Also check your gas cap since that is another known culprit. But start with a new bleeder valve.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
