Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can someone with a 996TT pop out to the garage and measure their ride height for me please. I have receipts from two previous owners, one lowered the car and one raised the car (or vice versa, can't remember) and I don't know if the car is sitting at the right height. To my eye it looks to be too high.

POST 2Original post

Google does wonders ! Eg; https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turbo-forum/785544-ride-height.html

POST 3Original post

66cm front 66.7cm rear - left to right are the same OEM suspension, wheels etc

POST 4Original post

I have never been a fan of wheel arch measurements as so many factors can get in the way. This shows a recommended approach to ride height.
