Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

City #4 seems more compliant and "natural" but still a bit to get used too...but it REALLY wants to go now.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I finally got around to installing this unit after purchasing it last Fall and wowzers, shes a senstive beast now. I had it on Sport #2 and it was almost too much. I couldn't drive it smoothly in city traffic...way too LURCHY. Constantly jumping at cluth engagement, and it was a challenge to not over-rev and keep them smooth, City #4 seems more compliant and "natural" but still a bit to get used too...but it REALLY wants to go now. I think on a track it would be phenomenal, or at least more spirited backroad driving. I think for city or rush hour traffic, I would set it down more. All-in-all, I am pleased to have it.

POST 2Original post

I’ve thought about adding one of these to my 2.9L PDK Cayman but I have the Sport/Sport+ factory upgrade. I like to manually shift the PDK with the Sport button engaged and it is such a vastly different and enjoyable experience. However, there are many times I’m in local traffic and intersections with traffic lights where it’s more reasonable to stay in Normal mode and leave the PDK in auto mode. Problem is, the falloff in pedal responsiveness is awful and I keep going back to the idea of Pedal Commander (or other equivalent). My problem is that I don’t know if can be set to only engage when the PDK is in Normal mode but not in Sport/Sport+ mode. Driving around town currently in Sport/Auto mode can be too lurchy and holds gears too long to be comfortable. Does anyone know if these devices can be used selectively (in Normal mode only)?

POST 3Original post

No but so easy to change it takes seconds. I ran mine under the center console trim so it sits under my knee. I just slide my hand down and adjust. Easy You will love it.
