Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Previous owner did lower it on k&w v3s so that's probably the reason for the shorter links but they aren't adjustable.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had this clunking sound when going over uneven road recently that sounded like my drop link on the left side was shot. I ordered a pair of stock links to get them swapped out. When I pulled the wheel to replace them i found to my surprise that the links were maybe an inch or over shorter than what I had bought. I didn't put it on, as I wanted to find a similar sized one. Does anyone have a clue where I can get these from? Previous owner did lower it on k&w v3s so that's probably the reason for the shorter links but they aren't adjustable. I want to know where to get a replacement like this.

Hi, Only thing I can think of suggesting, is to call Design 911 - or the likes of - and give them as much information as possible. I’d imagine they’d want accurate dimensions. Hopefully they can guide you on a replacement. Good luck, John.
