This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I thought it looked tidy but being colourblind I thought it was silver until my wife said it looked pink?

POST 2Original post

Is that Meridian Silver? A chap I know has a Carrera (I think) in that colour and yeah, it’s odd, it’s got a like pinky/purple/mauve tint to the paint? I quite like it.

POST 3Original post

Silver Back in the day you could get a special 944 turbo silver rose edition…. That was silver with a hint of pink. IF this looked pink it’s the light, or the camera that’s done it….

POST 4Original post

Had a boxster in that colour. Looks fab in the flesh and changes hue in different lighting. Def not pink in any light mind

POST 5Original post

Meridian is really pink in some lights, to some people. It used to be referred to as 'nipple pink' in the trade during the 986/996 era. Great colour though.

POST 6Original post

This shows the pink tint quite well... https://modernclassiccollective.com/products/2001-...

POST 7Original post

Fat Old Sun said: I thought it looked tidy but being colourblind I thought it was silver until my wife said it looked pink? I am seeing Arctic Silver there, which was prolific and therefore more likely. I had a 986 in Arctic and it looked like that. BUT it was a colour that looked different when it was dirty. In fact, it is the one car I had that looked nearly as good dirty as clean.

POST 8Original post

ePorsche have a Meridian for sale and the pics catch the pink tint in the paint really well.... https://www.eporsch.co.uk/listings/2002-porsche-91...
