Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello I've noticed some rust setting in on my wheel nuts (?) and I'd like to order a set of alloy replacements. Do I need new Wheel nuts, wheel bolts or both?? I know this seems a bit pathetic but I'm just making sure [ ] Has anybody done this and could they recommend some. It would also be good to know the best place to order them from. I have the Sports Design 18" (GT3) Wheels. Many Thanks Beno

POST 2Original post

They are bolts, however I would not recommend changing from the original Porsche fitment. Could be very dangerous... Have you talked to your OPC? Rusty nuts on many cars have been replaced free of charge.
