Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whats the go for  front Top Strut mounts for a 997 GT3, OEM or aftermarket?

POST 2Original post

Do you have the part number for your 997? What's wrong with them? I "think" the standard top mounts are rubber composite bushes, though the Porsche Rennsport competition parts have spherical monoball bearings. Most of the Rennlist guys in the USA say these Porsche competition parts are better than the big advertising aftermarket brands, but who knows? I have a new pair of monoball top mounts - never fitted - which are stamped MWK Germany #996 343 181 9R for my 996 GT3. The Porsche box they come in are marked Stutzlager #996 343 011 91P which is the correct part number. I would think they are the same or similar fitment to your 997.1 GT3

POST 3Original post

I just checked and the standard GT3 front top mounts are monoball type, not rubber. Still not sure if 996 the same as 997.1, only the part number will tell the true story.

997 333 061 01 is the part number, not sure the 996 ones will fit????????????

POST 6Original post

Ahhhh - sorry, looks like the 997 version is different to what I have.
