Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am probably going to have the clutch done in the 1st half of the year and would service the IMS shaft bearing, seal, etc. at the same time. Since the PP kit is listed as "coming soon", I was wondering about an estimated availability timeframe. Thanks Todd 99 coupe

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep, I understand the LN Eng kit looks like the ultimate IMS retrofit/upgrade. I will, however, probably be looking for the PP kit assuming it addresses the base seal leak issue. I like the logic of the idea put forth that you'd service the IMS bearing when doing a clutch job. Thanks Todd 99 coupe

POST 7Original post

Hi all. The kit will be available very soon. I have 500 of these in stock, we just clocked 25,000 miles on our test car without a leak. The only two things remaining are me getting some printed instructions to include with each kit. -Wayne
