Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi there, I've got the PCCM+ in my 2004 996 C4S and I've noticed that anytime I try to turn on the Map in the native app, it requires that I click through a set of Terms & Conditions, is this normal? I can only do this when I'm stopped. Separately, half the time, it runs me through the Setup Wizard when I try to open the Map/GPS in the native app. Has anyone else had this issue and are there known firmware updates available, I've found zero assistance from Porsche. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Take this with a grain of salt: go to Home --> Settings, scroll down do "Factory reset" - touch and hold it for ~10-15 seconds, a hidden settings screen should appear. I can't see this on my EU unit, but if I remember correctly from other forum posts, NA units should have an option to disable the nav warning screen. The second issue is weird though, I've never had this problem.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
