Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I had a bad lifter type noise coming from the rear passenger side of my 997TT. It was a timing Chain tensioner that would no longer hold oil pressure at idle. It was changed and now I get misfire codes on the right bank of cylinders. One cylinder seems to error more that the others but it only happens below 2k RPMS. Anyone experience this? We are going to do a leak down today. It had never put up error codes before the tensioner was replaced. Swapping coils did not help. These guys are talking bent valves now. PFFFFFTTTTT I cant see the bent valves working properly above idle. Im not a engine specialist. Any ideas????
