Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Everyone, The covering on my dash is pulling away from the front where it tucks under the interface to the windshield. Anyone seen this before and how can this be repaired? Thanks

POST 2Original post

I assume that you are not wanting to take the car to an upholstery shop and have it done professionally? I repaired a dash once by using some 3M trim adhesive. In the hot summer sun it didn't last. I'd recommend buying a complete dash from a wrecked car or on eBay. There are some vendors that make custom leather that you can reupholster the dash with, but you should still remove the dash to install it properly anyway.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
