Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Have a 2005 996 Turbo S and bought a new Durametric Pro. Works like it should and cleared codes, turned of air bag light from removing seats. Problem is I dont see any options for coding. I want to adjust the interior lights to turn on with doors opening and turn off seat belt chime etc... What could be wrong? I have the latest software as just downloaded tonight. Please help.

POST 2Original post

Are you sure you got Pro? Should say so on the cable. The coding tab wasn't hard to find, at least on a Cayman. I'd have to drag out the laptop to tell you exactly where though. The only trick is finding all the modules to change.

POST 3Original post

The Pro doesn't appear to support much coding for 996. Check this link Porsche Model and Code Matrix for Durametric Version 6 .

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
