As Nick says, check for play in the wheel bearings but also for play in all the suspension and steering joints too.

Hi All, Has anyone experienced this when braking the steering wheel vibrates? Have changed the front discs but this has't helped. Thanks

Morning! Had the exact same problem recently and it was a wheel bearing on the nearside front. Not expensive unless the bolts shear and they are a pain to get out! Drives like a dream again! Nick
