Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Wanted to share how to remove the black key plug that comes with the Porsche's drive/entry feature. For my 2013 991, I wanted to add a new chrome color plug from "Sun Coast" but simply turning the plug to the left and waiting for a click does not work because it won't turn left. Leave the key in your house, and turn on car, you will get the message, no key found, than turn to the left, you will get another message to remove plug! Remove plug and replace with new color plug. I hope this might be helpful.
