Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone done business with Stuttgart Classic Parts? I need a rebuilt 996 motor and they are advertising 911/996 1999-2004 rebuilt engines and showing photos of what appears to be the new crate motors Porsche Cars NA has been selling. I wonder who does their engines and are they to be trusted w my hard earned cash? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Len

POST 2Original post

I am not familiar with this business but it looks like they are selling Porsche rebuilt engines by part # so they should be from PCNA. 996 engines at great prices, Boxster not so much. What are you putting the engine in?

POST 3Original post

That is Joe Cogbill's business. He use to own German Auto Dismantler untill recently. I believe he was the original founder of Automobile Atlanta about 30 years ago.
