Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Took the car for a drive this afternoon and had a message come up telling me I need an oil change in either 17 days or 17,200 kms. Given I am just about to click over 5,000 kms I guess it will be the former. Curious, is this simply an oil change or do they also do additional work? I have probably only travelled 1200 kms since the last service which included an oil change.

POST 2Original post

Harold, You need to do more K's to get your value out of the services. There is an Autohaus Hamilton drive day on the 14th!

POST 3Original post

The owners manual sometimes gives you a breakdown of what they will do at each service. For fairly low KM services they normally just inspect a few things, dry lube door seals, change oil.

POST 4Original post

Greg, you are right and I will make it a New Years resolution. Too many functions in December for the 14th but I am open to such things. I think I will join the Porsche club of NSW. Thanks Russ, I think I wil just put the thing in and pay whatever the cost is and smile.
