this should be a good test of market value, with 130,563 kms it's enough to scare some people away, but s manual coupe is the most desirable config.

Hi all long time reader first time poster.
I have a Black 98 996 C2 manual that I want to sell to upgrade to a Black 997 manual and I went and had a look at this car today. It is a very clean series 1 original car with authorised history (Porsche Centre Melbourne and Brighton) and partial independent history. Going through the history and receipts it appears to be a 2 owner car slight scrape on the lower front lip and minor wear on the trim new tyres and a recent (independent) service.

this should be a good test of market value, with 130,563 kms it's enough to scare some people away, but s manual coupe is the most desirable config.
down side is uncertainty about condition of engine which can carry high repair costs. my risk averse guess.. around $75k sale price, maybe $10-15k more if it had a decent PPI .

Assuming you saw the atlas grey manual S in QLD, had 145k on it it, last price drop was $66,990??
auctions are funny things, will be keen to see where it ends up!
pretty risky without having the opportunity to perform a PPI...
