Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After several track days over the past 18months think my discs are done! 1 hour later and fresh ones on ready for the ring next month.

POST 2Original post

My mate recently snapped the whole disc off the bell on his Audi.

POST 3Original post

I am too poor to track the 996, that's what the FD2 is for

Lucky near miss - assume you felt that under the pedal? What pads are you running? Have fun at the ring!

I run RSL29's great pads but destroy discs

Cool, we run them on a lighter car and they last well and dont murder the discs so much - the car has more of an endurance braking setup so can run it pretty much non stop all day with 3 drivers, zero issues and good durability. Since you mention hybrids I assume you have a turbo? Have you tried the Ferodo DS3.12 pads?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yea 996 turbo. i ran the ds1.11 in an older car i have but just like the rsl's they are awesome at stopping with the gt2 calipers
