Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have two keys for my 2005 Porsche 911 C2. Both are memory programmed exactly the same. Key #1 causes a strange problem. When I unlock the car remotely, the driver's side mirror moves down and in so that my view from the driver's seat is of the left side door. It's easily reset with the adjustment switch, but having to adjust the mirror every time I unlock the car gets old. Resetting the memory afterward does not prevent the problem from re-occurring on the next unlock. Key #2 does not cause the mirror to loose its position. Does key #1 need to be professionally reprogrammed, or does it need to be replaced?
