Don't know why your soft to isn't working, sounds like it might just be a bit sticky cos it hasn't been used for a while.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Soft Top Not Working and Rear Quarter Windows Won’t Go Up After Hardtop Removal The car was parked for three months with the hardtop installed. After removing the hardtop, the rear quarter windows can be lowered using the switch, but they will not go back up. They only raise when the hardtop is installed again. The soft top is also not working. When I press the roof switch, I only hear a single click.Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

POST 2Original post

The soft top fully closing actuates the switch in the centre of where it clamps down at the front. If it doesn't close and actuate the switch there it won't let the rear windows go up. Your soft top not going up is at fault. Sort your soft top opening correctly and the windows will work fine. Don't know why your soft to isn't working, sounds like it might just be a bit sticky cos it hasn't been used for a while. There's a process to manually erect it, read your handbook to find out.
