Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I just purchased some coilovers and Im getting mixed reviews on adjustable drop links. Do i need them? Can i get away with my stock ones?

POST 2Original post

replacing all suspension parts, up and lower control are tie rods ext.. silvers coilovers

POST 4Original post

Never heard of that brand c/o. U have a link? Stock sway bars? year of car? Model c4, c2, s? Again give us more info it can only help.

POST 5Original post

You either need them because you can't hook them up without preloading the sway bar, or you don't. Will not be the same for everyone depending on the parts they are running, hence the mixed reviews. I suggest just getting them because they aren't a lot of money and it guarantees you can hook the sway bar up correctly... but like I said above, if you can hook it up without preload, you're good to go.
