Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If you use sealer use the Honda recomended "silver" its a high bond , high strength semi silicon product.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There is an oil cooler to the top right side of the engine that might be leaking. I had the same issue. The metal gasket leaks over time. May potentially be your issue as well.
Just ti clarify....the cooler is in the opposite side of the motor and there r orings under the cooler not a metal gasket. The t-stat and wp both use metal gaskets.
my guess is that it's related to the recent work done. Maybe they installed the gasket wrong on the water pump or thermostat?
Or maybe the coolant level sensor's connection to the expansion tank, that doesn't have a clamp and is just tapered.
other than that it could only be the fittin in post #2.
And that is what you get for NOT buying a Porsche water pump, or a Piersburg water pump (who is the one that makes the pump for Porsche). Cheap pumps... don't work.
Porsche coolant? Or something else, just curious..
I also find generally that a bottle of Water wetter or similar will help keep the pump seals lubricated...

Warning, It STICKS so next time it will be harder to take apart.
Porsche coolant. Update though, I moved recently and this was a new shop that diagnosed it as a water pump, they quoted double to do the job as when it was originally done in 2019, so I called the shop who originally did it to see if theyd help me out a bit considering it was a relatively recent install, to which they agreed. Good dudes.
Turns out it wasnt the pump, but the plastic fitting mentioned earlier in this thread. Glad I got a second opinion.
Yeah, I was shocked as well. They even said I had a stripped bolt on my airbox as well, and provided a fully detailed inspection with pictures, said it was definitely the pump.
