Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

The sizes you mention *should* fit - the 19" wheel uses a lower profile tire to keep the outer circumference of the wheel the same.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Can I fit 235/40/19 front and 285/40/19 tires rear on my 2006 carerra 2 without experiencing handling and rubbing issues? I like the looks of a 19" wheel, but don't like the low tire profile. POST 2Original post

Different tire manufacturers have different sizes of tires, even if they have the same spec (i.e. one brand of the same size tire may fit differently than another brand of the same sized tire). The sizes you mention *should* fit - the 19" wheel uses a lower profile tire to keep the outer circumference of the wheel the same. I had 19" wheels on my 996, but I took them off and put back 18" wheels on, as I didn't like the low profile going that thin, and I also didn't really like the looks. - Wayne
