Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Which one is your fave?

I think the Woody model with Denim effect paint and his checker shirt fabric is superb.

Theses are all amazing. Loads of tiny details, whether they're to your taste is another thing but they're really well executed.
Overall I quite liked the Buzz version but the Jessie had so many cool touches inside. Reminds me of the Sally they did for Cars.
I dont understand the connection. Might as well paint a big black helmet on a 911 and call it the Darth Vader special edition.
The 992 'Sally Special' on the other hand has a clear link to the original film and looks really good in its own right.

There isn't, just marketing like all new films.

I believe they're auctioning them off for charity aren't they? Haven't read that article but I'm sure I saw it elsewhere so it's just an evolution of the relationship Disney has with Porsche.

Indeed. They're all awful. But that was pretty inevitable with this kind of crass marketing tie-in.

This is smart. If you were five when Toy Story first came out, you will be of an age today where you might be able to buy a 911.
Welp, that's my day ruined.

As a Pixar fan I so need one of these for my T.
Lovely touch that.
No affiliation but I bet you could commission something like that from ...

Yep the Sally sold for $3.6 million....so all 3 of these new ones could easily go over $10Mil+

Now there’s an idea
I'm always impressed by the lengths Porsche go to with these special editions, for example the one-off turbo style wheelset on the "Sally Special". The Woody car has wheels I've not seen before too.
All 3 sold to the same buyer - only $3Million, which I thought they'd be a piece

Here is a better video on how they came to be
That's a really good video. I love all of them, the attention to detail is fantastic. And the buyer, whilst $3m is a lot of money, got a bit of a bargain imo.
I suppose they'll be packed away somewhere, be interesting if they'll ever appreciate in value though, it'll be a tough ask? But I'm sure the buyer has got a nice tax write off for charity donations as well.

That does seem a bit of a bargain. Pleased they went together, hopefully make an appearance on load somewhere like the Peterson etc.

Yeah, I think they said in the video that they were all going to be sold together, unless I misheard it?
Good news if you're a Toy Story and Porsche fan - the 3 cars are currently on display at the Goodwood Fos, behind the Porsche ClubHaus stand...
Check out all the Easter Egg messages on the sidewall of the Buzz Lightyear tyre
Also, apparently the owner is getting his name written on the underside of the "Woody" car, just like in the movie
Oh, and the cars were sold with extra\spare tyres, because of how unique they are
