Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have the standard power (six way seat), and the fore/aft movement is intermittent at best. The switch is dead, and while there have been several posts regarding this issue, most seem to be left unresolved (OPs not following up with a resolution). I know the switch itself is very hard to find, and I am just going to bite the bullet and get the assembly with the full switch assembly and keep the old one as a donor unit for when the others go. Can anyone confirm 99661371301A03 is the correct PN for the non-Sport Seat option (standard)? There seem to be quite a few vendors that have the parts diagram up but it shows the Sport Seat in the diagram (wider shoulder supports), and I just want to be sure given the price. Example: https://parts.byersporsche.com/p/Pow...relatedProduct Additionally, after talking with both my indie and a few other mechanically inclined friends, this swap appears it can be done without removing the seat. Can anyone confirm that? Any need to disconnect the battery to avoid airbag or other complications upon finishing up? Thanks and starting to do my own work on this car so, while this might be an annoying set of questions, I appreciate any assistance. Thanks!
