Wow! So if you are even remotely thinking about swapping to a newer PCM or Aftermarket Headunit, I Highly Recommend calling Roman in Pennsylvania. He is not only an authorized dealer but an expert installe! Super Neat, Super Clean, and Super Knowledgeabl! I can sit there all day and talk to him about euro cars and life! Can’t thank him enough for his expertise, he clearly covered all the weaknesses the PCM has and addressed them for future issue.

What is the boot up time like? I have the more budget isudar unit and the compromises seem to be how it handles calls and inconsistent CarPlay launch time. Overall still very happy with the module, though

So I’ve used other systems in the past that others encouraged to use only to have the system fail or work slowly but to be fair every year these systems get better and better. The MR12V system works super fast with zero issues as of now. I know Roman changed to a solid state system vs the current to avoid any crashes in the future. Again, I have zero complaints with MR12V as I would say my other Apple CarPlay vehicles from factory are not kosher at times. Like I stated, Excellent System that is easy to use and definitely worth the price! Enjoy
