For those that have the R splitter on their S, have you found less front floatiness at speed than with the stock splitter?
Anyone know or have data to show if the R splitter does increase front down force at speed? If it does, I suspect not as much as a full front splitter but I'm not a fan of those and also don't want scraping issues that sometimes come with full front splitters.
Apart from SunCoast and GT-Racing, any other place selling this and in carbon fibre preferably?
Thanks.
Anyone? Nothing is coming up in search.
It does increase front down-force, its recommended that you also add the R rear spoiler along with it. But if its a street car and you're not doing 100+ mph high speed runs often, it shouldn't be an issue.
Thanks for chiming in. I already have the Verus dive planes for added down force at speed and was thinking these would and that bit more as I really dont like a floaty feel at speed.
I get why you suggested the R spoiler but I don't think I want to drill holes on the rear hatch. I have replaced my stock S spoiler with a duck tail though. You reckon with the Verus planes, adding the R splitter will upset the aero balance too much at speed?
I've used both the larger spoiler and front splitters on the track. Don't overthink this. You're not going to drastically alter the aerodynamics with marginally larger front splitters and dive planes. Both will tend to reduce font end lift, but the most benefit will come from the larger rear spoiler reducing rear end lift. Even so, these effects won't be noticable until you hit "go directly to jail" speeds in the US. On the track you'll notice their benefits, especially on the high speed straights. On the street, I doubt you'll feel any difference.

Thanks for the experience. Yeah...for 95% of my driving, it'll be "why the heck did you bother" mods. Its the maybe 2 to 3% driving on freeways to B-roads that's motivating these mods. I really don't have a feeling of loss of traction, floatiness at the rear... but the front... again this was past 110 to 120 mph (more the latter) ....the light floaty feeling... I really don;t like that... I guess the best way is not to go at that speed.. but hard to when the rest of the convoy is pushing past those speeds on spirited sprints.
I think I'll put on the R front splitters more for the very slightly more aggressive look.
Thanks again for the time Croc. Trust all well.
You've already installed the splitters and still feel front end light floatiness?
Am planning to get the Verus dive planes as well but I already have a version of the R splitter in front and the wing at the rear.
I tend to brake early into the bends but as of late I've been practicing to carry more speed, and that's where the lightness and understeering experience becomes more obvious.

Haven't been able to test it at the working speed past 100mph.
The R splitter is more for looks but it it helps with bit more down force, I'm ok with that.
What version of the R splitter have you got? Can you post a pic?
Stock reply ,
Do you have experience of this as my steering feedback is almost nil at 175 mph ?
