Hi all. I searched a lot and i am sure the answer are somewhere . But I ask anyway . I am about to change my pcm1 ,with some kind of dual din radio. what harness do I need? There are few to choose from. One harness that is active? One is not. Or do I need both? my car is 996.2 cab. 2002 . Pcm1 non fiber. Pretty sure without Bose as it no stickers and I guess Bose are always most fiber. Does all 996.2 pcm1 have amplifier? Thanks

Not a super helpful response...but I installed the PCCM+ in my 2004 cab a few weeks ago and it has been darned near perfect for me.

2002 is kind of unique when it comes to the radio. pcm 1 probably has an amp but you will need to check. in the frunk. C2 will have it on the floor of the frunk next to the spare. I have a '99 non-pccm with the DSP. I don't think it matters as long as you don't have the fiber system. I used the Metra 70-1787 harness and I'm 90% sure that's what would work for your installation. That's what's listed in the "101 Projects..." book and he doesn't list different harnesses for different models. You might also need a european antenna adapter.
