Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well we all know who did it but you have to prove it first!!! it's been several weeks of reflection on why I'm doing what I do and whether or not I can keep the project going, PLUS my wife successfully underwent colorectal cancer surgery so lots going on in Yogi's Household. But I felt the time was right to share my story. Enjoy. You Tube

POST 3Original post

That's a really entertaining video. Thanks !!!

POST 4Original post

Fun video. Glad your wife is doing well and glad you got a plan for Pepper. Looking forward to the next round. A 4.0 will be impressive.

Hope you got to watch it! Thanks all, shes doing very well. Some backstory: From Yogi-mama: So after surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm which kills 50% people right on the spot, I managed that plus another aneurysm, three craniotomies in the span of six months and the likelihood that I wouldve survived with no impairments was only 10%. Here I am and clearly I needed another challenge. And so it didnt just have to be cancer it had to be rectal cancer because its the ****tiest Shes my hero.

POST 6Original post

Congrats to Yogi Mama! You are a lucky man. Oh and - she has lovely eyes. Thanks for sharing your story and I look forward to future episodes.

Eyes, huh? 😂 She’s my rock and we have so much fun making these. Plus she’s learning car stuff too. She sends me pics of all the cool Porsche’s on the road when she’s running errands as well. My wife's quote was censored. The joke was ... because it's the sh!tt!est!

POST 9Original post

First of all Yogi, you and your wife have a beautiful marriage relationship. - Your ability to weather the storms of life and not let adversity steal your joy and happiness, is truly remarkable and a positive testimony to others. Most folks would just throw in the towel and find a corner to hide. It's reassuring that you're willingly to own up to the mistake and have a clear plan to correct the error. This stumbling block will be a stepping stone. Enjoyed the humorous video. The cop slap was hilarious! hahaha I would like to add some "food for thought"... you mentioned the core reason for the damaged aluminum block was from the 100% potency of Purple Power. I'm no chemist, but from what I've learned the ingredients in Purple Power are the core reason for the reaction with aluminum not just the potency. Yes, heat and potency will elevate the chemical process, but it's the sodium hydroxide in Purple Power that will eat aluminum. (see attachment) It's my understanding that even at a 50/50 mix, it still can damage aluminum especially when heat is added. I would love to hear from others on this subject especially those that have worked in this industry.

Thanks for your kind words. I agree our marriage has been challenging. But I believe that w/o some sort of tragedy in your lives you may never know true companionship. Watching her dying in the ICU, after her first emergency craniotomy, with infection really put things into perspective for me. After she recovered we stopped fighting and bickering because the little things just don't matter. After her cancer surgery I was reminded of that feeling all over again. Not that I wanted to be reminded of how I felt but it is what it is. I'm glad that it comes through on video, even when she's slapping the **** out of me!

POST 11Original post

Good to hear positive news on your wife, sending positive Karma your way. Regards.

POST 12Original post

Nice video! Hope your wife is doing better. What a scare! Lastly, hope your renewed engine rock!

I hope so too. I hear LN is the best so we'll see. Can't wait to hear it when it's a 4.0. I plan on putting on Fabspeed catbacks at least. Maybe the whole thing.

POST 14Original post

Big respect to Yogi Mama. Puts engine stuff into perspective, huh? You will learn a lot from her.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 17965662

I already have and I continue to learn from her. In fact, it was her that brought up the aluminum issue (after it was already boiling) because the drip pans I was using to catch the leaking PP was tarnishing and EATING THROUGH the tray. She says, "Wow it's a good thing there's no aluminum in there." I turned white and almost threw up. You can actually see my demeanor change once the water is boiling. I knew it was going to be a disaster. I left most of the video content out but trust me it was somber. I'm so glad that she picked up the camera and started recording because I wasn't going to.

Well, it's going to be a solid car when you are done. My wife loved your video, too! We watched it together again. She just subscribed.

POST 17Original post

Hey Yogi, and anyone else who's interested: here's another safety tip for this at home hot tanking method. Heating galvanized steel like your trash cans there above 480F with a direct flame is dangerous and toxic. It releases zinc fumes so don't ever do it in a confined space, but it's best not to do it at all if it can be avoided. Beyond that: I share the same sentiments as everyone else. Family comes first, cars are just things. Everything can be fixed. I'm waiting on a caliper piston because yours truly tore the hell out of it with some channel locks after nothing else would get it loose. Whether it's $50 or $5000 the biggest cost is pride sometimes. We all hate spending money on our mistakes. Just think of people that literally throw that kind of money away on things they have nothing to show for it. Whatever we spend on these cars is no different than a vacation, season tickets to sporting events, or any other hobby. A pastime and memories often cost money.

That's one thing I actually knew about the project. Those cans can be toxic. That's right. I couldn't be doing what I do w/o my family's support. We actually discussed her coming on my channel more often due to the positive responses we've received.
