Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

More than likely you're dealing with a MOST based unit or the PCM2 if it was the factory installed head unit on a '03 or '04 996.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Seeking the Porsche 996 2003 or 2004 wiring diagram radio/Navigation page.
Hoping someone has access to that or can point me to somewhere I can purchase.
I have the 2000 and 2002 wiring pdfs but there is a change to the 2003 and 2004 wiring that I need.
I also have an aftermarket 2004 wiring diagram but it doesn't have the info I need. I need the Porsche pdf.
Greatly appreciate any assistance.
I have a copy of the Porsche workshop manual. It only has the 1999/2000 wiring diagram set. The 2002 wiring diagram set that I also have was obtained as a stand alone document (wiring diagrams only).
This morning the seller of a 1999-2005 workshop manual confirmed that his CD only has the 1999/2000 wiring diagram in it.
I realize you are just trying to be helpful by asking what I am attempting to accomplish but what I really need is the wiring diagram. Thx,
We're having a technical discussion and I see you don't want to participate.
I would have gone through the trouble to look up the schematic in my '04 shop manual, but not now.
Good luck!
btw... the reason people ask questions is that have better things to do with their freakin' time than comb through endless pages in a shop manual looking for the wrong things. Porsche radio schematics are different depending on if you're dealing with a Bose, Base Hi-Fi, Tecknik, DSP, or analog setup. We don't know if you're dealing with a PCM1, PCM2 or PCM3. Knowing would save a lot of time! More than likely you're dealing with a MOST based unit or the PCM2 if it was the factory installed head unit on a '03 or '04 996. Anyway moving on....
