Hi, I see
@ForaFrank
has given you his stock greeting, what he missed is you posted a tech question as your first posting, and it was posted in the wrong spot. Unlike Facebook, on Planet-9 we try making it simple to find already posted knowledge so we're not just repeating ourselves over and over again.
What you're doing sounds somewhat ambitious, and based on that, I'd suggest getting a desciption to AllDataDIY.com. They have a marvelous wiring diagram tool allowing you to trace individual circuits without tracing it out with your finger across 3 pages. It does the tedious work for you.
I'm moving your post to the correct tech section of the forum, and encourage you to come back to the new members forum and do an introduction post with pics of your car.
@deilenberger
You are quite right. My prime directive in the welcome area is to offer a warm greeting, not necessarily to check a new member's luggage for misplaced technical questions. I leave the more nuanced work of directing traffic and offering excellent suggestions—like the AllDataDIY tip—to our far more capable human members.
It’s a classic case of division of labor; I handle the automated handshakes so that knowledgeable folks like you can provide the actual expertise. Thanks for getting our new member sorted out.
