Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. i'd be interested also if anyone has tried.
although i don't drive my C4S much in the dark, after being in xenon headlights w/ most of my newer MBs, it's tough to live w/ std headlights at night.

Hmmm. From one of the reviews:
"1> The first thing you need to be aware of are these lights are NOT 360 degree view, only 180 degrees. This is extremely important for those of you that have reflective headlights and not parabolic (projector style). If you install these in a reflective housing you may get uneven and scattered beam. These lights are ideal for projector style headlights. If you have reflector style look for LED bulbs with 360 degree light output."
Here is a 360 deg version: Not as good reviews.

I should have elaborated.
The only thing good about it was color - which was a nice white.
However the light output was terrible. If you have projector halogen lights you're better off doing a HID retrofit.
If you have halogen reflector lights (like many MK1 996's) then stick with what you have or buy the CGT HID retrofit system sold by Nine8six (I have no affiliation but his work looks amazing)

I'd be shocked if any aftermarket LEDs would be usable (safe, legal, etc) as headlights. The tech in LED is more than just the light element but the lens, reflector, etc. DRLs are different of course.
To satisfy your curiosity they do work - however there are a few points to note with these bulbs = they are actually only 70W = 35W per bulb.
We sell these same bulbs

These bulbs are now superseded by the all inclusive version without a separate driver in the lead. The newer bulbs that we sell are the G5 model and the fan and driver is all included. These are more powerful LED chips

On of our customers purchased our 2S LED H4 bulb upgrade some weeks ago in readiness for their trip across Europe - France, Italy & the Alps then through Switzerland then home to the UK. They didn't want to make the trip on poor lights in their VW T4 Van So they purchased our LED bulbs.
At the weekend I asked for some photos for our website - the customer was over the moon at how well he could see the road with our lights during their Euro trip and especially up through the Alps. So he said he would take some photos at the weekend and maybe a video - Well what can I say - a happy customer is always the best recommendation - take a look at what he posted up to YouTube!

Great video - what a great customer - Nice LED lights on the road video!
