Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I'm looking for at least one other member. Durametric gives a 20% discount for two or more testers. They must be the same model, paid for and shipped to a single location. I'm looking at a Professional unit that is normally $735. It will be $588 with the discount. Not sure about taxes or shipping yet, but we can figure that out if someone is interested. I'm located in NJ 07054. PM me if you are interested. Here is the address: Duratmetric Professional site

Sorry if this has been covered, but what would be the advantage of the "Pro" for a home DIYer with only 1 vehicle to work on?

There are two main differences between the Enthusiast and Professional Kits: The number of cars supported: The Professional kits support an unlimited number of cars. The Enthusiast kits support up to three cars only. The limitation of the Enthusiast kit is based on the car's VIN - not model. The Coding and Command Console features: Beginning with Durametric version 6, Durametric supports the Coding and Command Console features. These features are included with the Professional kits only. The Coding feature provides for the ability to enable or disable predefined features in the car such as airbags, daytime running lights, cruise control, and the rear spoiler where applicable. The Command Console feature is a means of communicating with the control units using very low-level communications. This feature is very seldom used.
