Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi All I recently placed the following ad on the forum for a friend of mine and wondered if you guys could offer some thoughts on whether the price is realistic. Thanks Andy 996 Carrera 2 '98 "R" Tiptronic 63,500 miles Ocean Blue Black Leather Sports Seats, CDR22 stereo with 6xCD and Digital Surround, polished tail pipes, 18" Turbo Alloys. Sunroof, Climate Control M.O.T. until July 2005 FPSH Major Porsche Service carried out 22nd July 2004 with new rear brakes and discs. Alloys clean & excellent bodywork free from dents. Interior unmarked Price is £30,995

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would say it's a fair price given the current market trend. But if you knock a 1000 off it it sounds better though ......that's if you are desparate to get rid. I am just hoping that 30k is the bottoming out price for these cars. They seem to be depreciating very quickly lately. In many cases you see 993's going for more.

POST 3Original post

Berny, its all the RMS threads - they are frightening the **** out of people!!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the advice guys. As you say the RMS stuff is not helping the prices at the moment. I will pas the info back to my colleague Cheers Andy
