Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

We've recently pulled an instrument cluster apart. It's quite straightforward, just requires time and patience. The speedo bulbs are the ones inside the unit (green or brown bulb holder, can't remember).

POST 4Original post

Anyone know of a better way to buy these little bulbs? D911 want £8 each + postage (£8) I was thinking of replacing them all while I've got it apart but not at that price.

POST 5Original post

I’d try eBay I bet they’ll be cheap on there

POST 6Original post

Already been there , full of Chinese copies that even have Osram embossed into them From what I've read there are 3 different watt rating I've emailed OPC to see what they come up with.

POST 7Original post

They look identical to the bulbs I fitted to my Mk2 Golf a couple of years ago if that helps the search.

POST 8Original post

Most auto part store will carry them. I replaced mine years ago, though I think one of the ones by the voltage display still don't work as there's a dark spot.

POST 10Original post

I know they do but you'd hope genuine Osram ones will last longer than 3 weeks.
