1. In the sound settings of the module, turn on the option to “Use the original car Bluetooth Audio" and "Original MIC"
2. Switch the sound channel in the car to the Bluetooth channel
3. Connect the phone to the module's Bluetooth (to connect to
carplay
or
Android auto
)
4. Connect the phone to the car's Bluetooth
After completing the above steps, congratulations, you can use the car's Bluetooth audio channel! The sound quality has been qualitatively improved compared to the previous AUX.
Note: You must follow the correct steps to connect, otherwise there will be no sound.
The mirroring function and USB's music and video still need to use AUX as the sound channel, so during installation, it is still recommended to install the external microphone included with
Isudar
.
Hi, my car has original OEM phone prep in the (2015
981
)
PCM 3.1
system. Do i need to fit the external mic as supplied by
ISUDAR
or can I exclude it? If the mic is only for controlling Siri, then I can do without it. I don't particularly want to run the
Isudar
mic cable up near the sun visor if I dont need to. Thank you
I joined this forum since your post keeps coming up in my searches for solutions for my new
isudar
unit in my 991.1. After I installed the unit, Bluetooth Aux option stopped showing up on the
PCM
. I can play
carplay
music on the AUX channel. I have both AUX and BT AUX checked on in
PCM
. Any thoughts what might be going on here?
Have you tried the
isudar
customer support? I used them quite a few times and while the time zone difference meant things took a while to resolve, it all worked out in the end. The only weird thing I have with mine is audio handling of calls. I have to remember to switch to the
PCM
phone, rather than to the
CarPlay
phone. I get calls so rarely while driving it doesn’t bother me.
point being, their customer support was very helpful in resolving most issues.
Have you tried reinstalling the
Isudar
module? I saw on other forums that the "BT AUX" option reappeared for some people after they reinstalled the module.
That said, I’d recommend contacting
Isudar
customer support. The tips I posted are based on advice they gave me when I ran into similar issues. I noticed that no one on the forum had posted this information, so I compiled it and am sharing it here.
You don't necessarily have to install this external microphone. However,
Isudar
informed me that the external microphone is still required when using AirPlay, and that AUX must be enabled as the audio channel. So, to avoid having to disassemble and reassemble it multiple times, I still installed this external microphone.
I was trying hard not to remove and reinstall, but in the end that’s exactly what fixed it.
