Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check dairy' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check dairy' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

The PIWIS tester has a DME record check facility that can tell whether any map manipulation has occurred; it also can check if the present map is the 'current' version (MY and driveability improvement maps are written periodically and are worth investigating to keep the DME up to date).

Suggestion
Its a five second check once the tester is connected for a system test as part of a service; 30-40 minutes of programming if an update is available (unlikely foc but worth asking)

I don't know if there are any easy identifiers simply by plugging in via the obd port but one would think that if you wanted to you could compare a base map and a modified map check the tables and see the differences.

It's possible; I would have to check when I'm back at work.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A question for you Teccies:
Is it possible to tell if a Boxter engine has been re-mapped?
If it is, are you able to identify how it has been altered?
Thanks in advance.
I don't know if there are any easy identifiers simply by plugging in via the obd port but one would think that if you wanted to you could compare a base map and a modified map check the tables and see the differences. I could tell the difference in the driving when mine was done but it was already modified.
I have a 987 Boxster S 3.4 and am thinking about re-map, Mintec exhaust and inductions kit Has anybody done it? I see design 911 do it for about £2,000 but remap is extra. I don't want to spoil my car but some more growl would be good. Comments appreciated.

A decent mapper with access to a dyno should be able to tell if it has been mapped and what's been done to it.
There's a mapping session on for Porsches at Surry rolling road on March 1st and 2nd
Pm me for more info full custom map via obd port will be £500/550

Interesting.
Is it just a case of asking our OPC if an update is available?
If one is, is it FOC?

It's possible; I would have to check when I'm back at work. The maps are in the tester and the tester is updated 'regularly' current tester SW is Vers 13.200.
