Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I noticed that H&R sells a lowering spring especially for 4WD 996's, but is there any additional concern or issues with installing lowering springs on a 4WD car? I do not believe so and could not find anything on this specifically, so thought I should ask. Thx!

POST 2Original post

Do a google search for 996TT suspension install, there is a lot of information for the AWD guys. As far as a concern for lowering an AWD car, there is nothing you need to be concerned with, same effects as 2WD.

POST 3Original post

There are different kits because the C2 and Turbo/C4 don't share the exact suspension setup

POST 4Original post

I have had them for years. you know that every other car in the world beside usa has lower springs? thats what ROW parts mean. some of our parts are for usa only. Also there are different springs for different cars, manual/tip get differeent springs, its all the weight factor. Be sure you order the mfg correct #. POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks that's good info. May pull the trigger IF I can find a great deal. Darn Canadian dollar isn't helping in this regard.

POST 6Original post

Are RoW springs lower? My 04' C2 looks the same height. I'd like to find out though. Also you think buying things is CAD is hard try buing parts in AUD haha its 30% more at the moment
