Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, From canada and have been looking around and researching 996's for about a year now. Am leaning towards a mkII. I have a car loan finishing up in a few months and looking to pick up a summer fun ride in the spring and keep my SUV for camping/winter driving. I came across one I am looking at, (its a 2001 so its not exactly what I want) it has front and side skirts on it but I noticed the spoiler seems to be the regular 996 one that raises up either by a button or when it hits higher speed (not sure how its activated) Would this indicate it is a aftermarket aero kit? If so, is there anything I need to watchout for or be concerned about? Eager to start taking some out for a test drive but at the moment im still in the researching phase and learning as much as I can about the cars (IMS RMS) ect. Thanks!
