I suspected it was the DV's because the car has over 90k on it and they looked original, so I replaced them with 710's and also got a silicon F-hose.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, when I am at part throttle and accelerating...maybe .1 to .3 bar...I get this long groaning air sound from the driver's side of the engine compartment. I suspected it was the DV's because the car has over 90k on it and they looked original, so I replaced them with 710's and also got a silicon F-hose. After doing that though, the noise is still there, and it is actually louder and more pronounced now. I can't figure it out. I also did a boost leak test and got nothing. Any ideas or thoughts?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just realized I put this in the wrong forum. Admin, can you move it to the turbo forum please?
