Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've looked hard on the web for the non oem snap in (I think they're snap in and glued, theres 2 insert holes) replacements shown in the pic. I also searched the tire section here on rennlist and came up blank. Does anyone have a supplier they can share with me? Thnx Phil

POST 2Original post

They don't snap in - Glued only. Don't waste your time or money - just bite the bullet and get the good/OEM ones (already glued). They're about $40 -$50 apiece...

POST 4Original post

Or you could look for the 4S center caps. I found a set on Fleabay. My car had the crest center caps when I got it.

^^ I was talking about the emblems which he seemed to be talking about (even though he said "center caps" )...

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My mistake, all of the caps are still attached and I'm missing 3 emblems. If anyone has a link it would be appreciated. Thanks

POST 7Original post

Ha! So I read that correctly... My rec remains the same - You can find the emblems/shields on eBay and glue them in, but they'll fall off again (ask me how I know) and they don't look that great anyway...Spend a little more and get the OEM (expensive ones) they'll last...

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I probably will order new ones but I found these earlier today so I'll give them a try first https://thegzcar.com/products/4pcs-5...9c2dea99&_ss=r

Those are not the right ones....too small....they need to be somewhere around 75mm....I agree with an earlier comment...get the 4S caps

POST 10Original post

the shield fell off my Turbo Twist wheel as I was washing it. it was held on by 2 strips of double sided tape. still quite sticky but I'd hate to lose a shield while driving quickly. two small holes in center and in shield I guess for original alignment even though the wheel center has an exact indent for the shield. anyone have a suggestion for an adhesive other than double-side tape? I can't see that the shield would ever need to be moved. Thank you

POST 11Original post

I glued my emblems on with Clear Contractors glue about 12 years ago. Still all there.

POST 12Original post

I left the two-sided tape on (still very sticky) but added Gorilla Glue elsewhere. cured one day. just had a "spirited" blast of a drive - the emblems are still there. yay.
