Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Seems the 12s use a sensor that's twice as expensive as the 11 and earlier.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am fairly sure that the TPS in my
tires
are original (2012).
I have already replaced one in the front.
Now I am doing a new set of rear
tires
, and figure I should replace them even though they are still working.
Where is the best place get them without spending too much.
My recommendation, don't overthink it. It's a
TPMS
sensor. I had my tire shop swap mine and they used an
Autel
brand one. They installed it, programmed it, and it just works. I think they were $35 each installed. They automatically activated and connected to the car before I even left the parking lot.

I bought a set for my 12
Boxster
at ECS Tuning for $70.00 each. Seems the 12s use a sensor that's twice as expensive as the 11 and earlier. It was the
Porsche RDE-011 TPMS
Kind of the issue.
Hate paying $70 if a $20, $25, $35 sensor is just as good.
Was going to get at
Tire Rack
ay $70, so looking for a better, but still reliable option.
You can try eBay. I just looked and saw sets for $50.00. IDK if they are new or used. Also, there's Ali Express selling them at $20.00 for a set of 4. Make sure you are looking for
TPMS
for 2012-16. That seems to make a difference.
OK, not going as cheap as Ebay or Aliexpres, being as it costs a bit to reinstall if bad.
Decided on
TPMS
.com as they were about as cheap as any reputable US based source and had good reviews.
I bought these a few years ago and they work reliably. If memory serves COSTCO installed them for around $15./wheel. YMMV.
