Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Maybe I should change the thread title to "Crazy 996-based creations"?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Clickbait, guilty as charged. I saw this at a local show yesterday.

POST 4Original post

The guys did a series of video on the 996. Seems to be inspired by the 935. They are exceptional craftsman with metal. Can't remember their YouTube name. While I am not a fan of the look, i can appreciate their work nevertheless.

POST 5Original post

Can’t track it can’t drive it on the street briskly no replacement panels I would be afraid to own this in NYC but it’s unique

Did not know that! Googled the pic, came up with Crucible Coachworks. You Tube

I posted about this car a couple of years ago but it looked a little different back then. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...slantnose.html https://www.carscoops.com/2022/01/this-guy-is-building-a-porsche-996-slantnose-with-unique-looks/ https://motorillustrated.com/this-996-porsche-911-converted-into-a-935-slantnose-is-epic/86514/

POST 8Original post

Built for a show, usual faux “drama” to get it ready in time …

POST 9Original post

It looks like there is some sort of **** prolapse going on at the back. The 996 rear end is just being forced out. No wonder it's squinting in the front! That's one hell of a BM. "Ease up buddy! You're gonna blow out an O-ring!" Interestingly, I also posted in that old thread, and although I was more diplomatic then, it's nice to see my tastes haven't changed.

POST 10Original post

There's a company in Japan that also does a slant-nose conversion to 996s (and 997s): https://www.oldandnew.jp

That's just... bizarre. Maybe I should change the thread title to "Crazy 996-based creations"?

Thats cool! Could do without the big wing but other than that I like it.
