Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

So sorry It was indeed a 13mm, dont know why I couldn't get it in there the first time I tried, all good now

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2001 c2 seems the nut under the cap that tightens the windshield wiper arm is loose on my car but I cant get a socket or wrench down in there to get it tight, is there a special tool or wrench to do that

POST 2Original post

I just replaced my wiper arms last year and it didn't require any special tools. I believe it is a 13mm socket.

POST 3Original post

Also pretty sure its 13 mm. I used a regular socket. I removed the wipers to remove and reblack the cowl. Its a little tricky to remove and reinstalll the driver side wiper.

POST 4Original post

Yogi's Garage posted this video last week about fixing the blend doors. At the 5:30 mark he starts with removing the wiper arms. It might help you. You Tube

What did you use to "reblack" the cowl?

it was some stuff one of my kids had. I think it was meguiars. nothing special, kind of a waxy liquid that fades after a while but looks great when first done. Pretty sure it was this stuff.
