Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, I have a set of these wheels currently on my 99 996 C2: I would like to change the color to gold or silver. Which do you think is better? These are not fancy wheels at all but I want to get a color change in before I buy a nicer set. I think they might come out nice in gold but looking for thoughts. I will be lowering the car a little soon also, Car for ref: Thanks, Blighty

POST 2Original post

I think there are some apps or sites that show wheels in different colors on your car. Maybe try that too. I think black/gold can look cool, especially on a white or black car. For your car, Id have to think and see some options. I like color of the first year 991 GT2RS wheels.

A light gold such as Porsche Mirage Metallic or Palladio (spelling?) May go nicely with the silver body.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@uscarrera You def make it look good dude! @Bahman Cheers, I think the Dupli-Color wheel gold is pretty nice. https://www.eastwood.com/vht-wheel-p...-oz-sp193.html This stuff looks pretty good.

just beware of gold flake paints such as Eastwoods. A bit too loud for a Porsche.
