Suggestion
Currently use a TomTom 500 for navigation with the added benefit that I am able to download all the speedcamera locations in the UK and the Tomtom gives you an audible warning and the permitted speed when you approach them.

What's the verdict on the PCM system for those of you lucky enough to have your caymans. I opted for the PCM system and bose sound upgrade and anxiously await delivery of my Cayman in March having placed my order last August. Currently use a TomTom 500 for navigation with the added benefit that I am able to download all the speedcamera locations in the UK and the Tomtom gives you an audible warning and the permitted speed when you approach them. Is it possible to do this with the Porsche system ? The mp3 facility on the CD player was also a factor in choosing the PCM. Is it any good and does the display give you the track, artist, album info etc? I'm now looking to kill some time before delivery by making up some mp3 discs with my favourite driving tracks. All suggestions for favourite driving tracks appreciated. Would be great to compile a Cayman Club driving album. Would imagine that despite our common appreciation of all things Cayman our musical tastes will be wide andvaried !!!!!!

No the PCM will not pick up speed cameras. PCM is a excellent sat nav system (locates all road works), but not a speed camera detector. As for MP3, YES it will pick up track title & artist. Cheers Rod
