I am considering using an independent Porsche garage (Cameron Sports Cars), in order to get two key fobs either re-programmed or replaced, having tried the suggested solutions on the forum threads for fixing the key fobs, but sadly failing.

There is an ongoing warranty issue with fob units and therefore important that you take them to a main dealer so you get the dealer warranty. Using a specialist invalidates the parts warranty.
