Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all: I am interested in ordering a spoiler for my 1999 996 C2 from Michael Shaw. He appears to do very good work and is located in CA. I have called and emailed twice in the past 2 weeks with no response. Does anyone klnow if this business is still open? Website is

Mike handed over day-to-day ops to Getty Design, I've called them a lot the last few months. Many of the calls don't go through, one did so I know they are still in business... but I had a really hard time finding out the info I needed to buy anything.
Thanks wdb! My need is pretty time sensitive so I ordered a duck tail spoiler (full rear lid) from DirectCarToys in Florida yesterday. The contact there is Omar Fernandez and I was impressed by him.
Can anyone clear up for me what is going on exactly with MAShaw and Getty Design, please? I've sent multiple emails, the most recent being Nov 28th, 2023, to the

email address and never heard anything back. My car has one of their full-body kits and I need a replacement front splitter.
Who owns who and who is run by whom? Where is the physical location (I can just drive to LA for pickup)? I read in a thread from 2021 that Michael Shaw owns Getty as a brand, but what does mean operationally currently?
And what's the deal with GT3 Tek, are they out of business? Both of their websites no longer work and their main one (Better Bodies) appears to be hacked and hosting malware.
I would like to order a new rear decklid/wing combo, but precisely what site to use and order from I have no clue.
Thanks!
Its been my experience with both Mashaw and Gettty that u have to call at random times during the day to get a hold of someone. They seem to be older buisness that barely handle a web site and probably dont have more then 2 employees. Im sure they just cant get to the emails or dont want to because of the volume of tire kickers out there. They should hire a 20yr/old to help but the quality of employee and labor rates in CA would make that a bad finacial decsion.
Ok, thank you for confirming that this is the correct site as I asked. I didn't want to make the mistake of going to an address listed on the other site or even if that was an old address.
I'll head over there in about 2-3 weeks.
I fairly recently purchased a taco wing for my 99 c2 from Getty Design.
Mr. Shaw will answer the phone when you call (and if he answers lol). Ive had success emailing

I've found out the best time to call him is around 11:30am-12:30pm on weekdays. Ive called him twice at about 12:00 pacific time. and hes answered everytime. maybe it was just luck??
I basically did my whole transaction from start to finish by phone and email. He sent me an invoice over email, i called him back and gave my CC over the phone.
All in all, id say it took about a week to fully get it done with back and forth talking to buying. then about 2-3 weeks for it to arrive.
I bought my .1 side skirts from GT-Racing. that was way quicker. however they do not do prefitment like getty. So nothing will have screw holes.
