Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I have the Bose system (no CD changer) and my in-dash CD player is malfunctioning. It plays a CD track for about 15 seconds before it stops and goes to the stereo. Is anyone else running into this problem? Edited by - fulbie on 04/08/2006 3:00:06 PM

POST 2Original post

I have a different problem: the whole system stopped working when the dealer tried to update the settings on the car so that a 'beep' sound is made when the doors are locked. Any how, they told me to bring the car for a full ECU update that will require about 1/2 day. It may be the solution for you as well.

POST 3Original post

I haven't turned mine on yet.... I may have wasted my money on the Bose. Paul

POST 4Original post

The only time mine is on is when my daughter is in the car with me.
